Be An Innovator

Regardless of what you do for a living, whether you are the CEO of a fortune 500 company or you are a stay at home Mom, innovation can and will bring you to the next level.

“Envy is ignorance, imitation is suicide” said that great Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Trying to be like everyone else is just that… suicide.

Every single person is capable of producing their own level of genius. This is the beauty of being an individual.

The question is: do you have faith and certainty in yourself?

When this is lacking we tend to admire who others are and what they have while at the same time believing we are in capable of such things.

If that’s what we believe, that is what the outcome will be.

Do you want the truth? “YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!”

Alright alright, so I’m a movie buff and had to go there (A Few Good Men).

The truth is that you are capable of producing and accomplishing what ever you want if you are willing to do what it takes to get it.

Everything we see and study in those we admire is information there to take and add to our own internal library.

Then comes the fun part.

The information isn’t here to copy or imitate. This information we gather is here to combine with our own ideas.

This my friends is innovation and enables us to stand out from the crowd.

I think many people feel in order to innovate, we need to completely re-invent the wheel and create something completely different.

Yes this certainly is one way. That said, the majority of innovations come simply by gathering information that already exists and improving upon it creating something new or something better than before.

How can you apply this with what you do and what is most important to you? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Until then, sky’s the limit.

Have an outstanding inspired rest of your day!
