Hey Transformers! Trevor Buccieri here and welcome to your weekly minute mindset.

Have you ever noticed we all seem to think every time other than now will be the perfect time to take action?

Whether it be taking the first step towards accomplishing one of our dreams or something as simple as beginning a home project that's been on the back burner for the last several years, I believe all of us have experienced and quoted "i'll do it later" in someway shape or form.

Why is that?

Maybe we truly do feel later will be better. We begin to justify and create reasons as to why now is not the best time. Or, maybe it's because we are afraid. Afraid of failing or afraid of not being loved.

You know what, it's been a difficult day I’m going to wait until tomorrow. I've already dug myself into a hole this deep; I might as well give myself a little more time.

Whatever the excuse may be it's important that we recognize and call it exactly what it is. An excuse.

Even more importantly is the recognition of what we missed out on in our lives through a lack of taking action now.

We think another time is going to be the perfect time. The perfect time where there would be no distractions or challenges that get in our way.

The truth is that the only perfect time is now.

Let me ask you… can you recall a pivotal experience in your life? Did you just soar right through that moment without any challenge, or were there massive challenges associated with the shift you experienced?

Regardless of what you are out to tackle and take action on, there is bound to be challenge, pain and pleasure associated with the experience.

So there's going to be pain either way? How is that supposed to be encouraging?

Here comes the juice.

Thinking back on your greatest accomplishments in life, was there challenge involved? Chances are your greatest accomplishments have been dubbed so specifically because of the high level of challenges you overcame through them.

Here is the takeaway. The greater the challenge, the greater the reward. I am willing to bet that the things you treasure most in your life are because of the boundaries you broke through in the process of attaining them.

That said, how can there be any better time than now to get started on the next step forward in your life?

Will it be difficult? Of course.

Will it be memorable? Most definitely. So let's get started now.

Willingness comes down to one question...

What are you willing to do to get what you want in your life?

Every single one of us by nature love to talk. We love to talk about our dreams, our inspirations and what we would love to have in our lives.

That said, the truth is that many of us are not willing to take the actions necessary to make those dreams, inspirations and loves in our lives a reality.

I love being in situations where i'm able to just listen to the conversations people have. They speak of all these incredible things they want in their life saying things like "could you imagine that?" Or "Man…Wouldn't that be incredible to have that?"

My simple answer to those questions is yes I can imagine that and yes that would be incredible to have that. Now let's get off our asses and make it happen because the only thing standing in the way of you achieving that is you and your willingness to do what's necessary to bring it to life.

Are you willing to stay up late and do the extra work?

Are you willing to be wrong and do it gracefully?

Are you willing to listen?

Are you willing to succeed?

Although many of these questions may seem rudimentary, the truth is that these very questions are what must be answered in order to gauge our willingness.

If we aren't willing to go the extra mile, that says we just enjoy talking and want everything to stay the same.

If we aren't willing to be wrong, then we aren't willing to take the chance is necessary for quantum leaps forward.

If we aren't willing to listen to others, then we are cutting off the invaluable resources that will be integral as we push forward to break boundaries in our lives.

Finally, if we aren't willing to succeed, then we aren't willing to except the responsibility that will most definitely be present when we reach our goal.

Yes being willing to do what it takes to get to our goals is one thing, but what many of us don't realize is that the moment we reach our goals is where a new level of responsibility and work becomes necessary to both maintain what we've earned and continue moving forward.

So now it's time to take a good look at what you say you want in your life and ask yourself "what are you really willing to do to make it happen?"

Have an outstanding inspired rest of your day!

Hey Transformers! Trevor Buccieri here and welcome to your weekly minute mindset.

Success is not something that finds us. Success is something we find only after we make the choice to do whatever it takes to find it.

Interestingly, the definition of what success means, is different for every person. What one person perceives as a success, another may see as a failure.

So how can we tell if we are on the path of success in our own lives?

Answer these 2 questions honestly, and you will see clearly.

1. Do you have goals you are chasing in your life?
2. Are the goals you set for yourself your own, or the goals of someone else?

Although these questions may seem a bit odd, I can’t stress the validity and importance of each question enough.

Every human intrinsically desires growth in some way shape or form in their lives. This growth or advancement is what we consider success. If we haven’t set goals that we are chasing in our lives, how can we expect to achieve the level of growth and success we yearn for?

Secondly, many get trapped setting goals that aren’t even their own. Too many times, we pay attention to what is expected and accepted by society’s norms and set our goals according to this expectation. We conform rather than remaining authentic in our pursuits.

If this is the truth, how satisfying and inspiring does that sound? Not too inspiring right?

When we deny what we truly want in our lives, the level of satisfaction we receive pails in comparison to what it would be if we only listened and dared to take action with our own desires.

If you answered yes to both questions above, congratulations. You are stretching your way to success organically and authentically.

If you answered anything other than yes to either of the questions, I challenge you to fight for more for yourself because you deserve it.

I challenge you to look at all 7 areas of life (spiritual, mental, family, finance, vocation, social, physical) and define specifically what you desire to be, do and have in all of these areas.

I believe all of us are here to serve others in some way shape or form.

Let me ask you. Do you feel you would be better positioned to serve others if you first made sure your wants and desires were taken care of first? Of course you would.

First taking care of ourselves enables us to put our best foot forward in everything else we pursue in our lives period.

Failing to do this is a disservice to those we are currently serving. Why? Because they never get to experience us at our best.

Step Up

Hey Transformers! Trevor Buccieri here and welcome to your weekly minute mindset.

Have you ever noticed the amount of excuses people give in their lives?

I don’t know about you, but I’ve certainly noticed a whole hell of a lot of them.

If it isn't someone else throwing the excuses around, then it's most certainly me.

Most would argue that excuses are like butt holes. Everyone already has one of them and we're not necessarily looking for another.

I would argue, bring the excuses on because the excuse is not the issue here. The issue is how long we are going to enable ourselves to live inside the excuse. The excuse is simply a tool giving us the opportunity to step up.

Excuses are directly linked to fear. We avoid jumping into many things in our lives due to fear of not being good enough and also not being loved.

This fear holds us captive and at its mercy until finally we embrace it and muster enough courage to step up and overcome.

The difference in time between when an excuse manifests and when we break the boundary by stepping up and crushing it represents our degree of personal growth.

The faster we're able to recognize our excuses, step up and overcome them, the more capable and in tune with ourselves we become in our lives.

In reality, there is nothing wrong with excuses at all. The problem lies in the amount of time it takes us to step up to the plate and start swinging. In fact, many find themselves stuck in excuses for years, continually festering over them, when the answer is just so simple. Step up.

Excuses are nothing less than a gift because they hold the opportunity of massive personal growth. All that's needed is recognizing them, stepping up to them with certainty and finally taking massive action to destroy them.

Vision / Purpose / Passion

Hey Transformers! Trevor Buccieri here and welcome to your weekly minute mindset.

We hear all this talk about vision, purpose and passion. So what's the difference?

Every single person yearns for significance in one way shape or form. It’s one of the six human needs according to Abraham Maslow.

I believe people of vision, purpose and passion would all fill the need and void of significance. That said, if they all fill the same void, aren't they the same?

The short answer is no.

The longer answer is no, and here's why.

Vision is what we see through feeling. It's what we create through listening to our hearts. Vision focuses on the process, not the end result. Our visions set us free because in our minds, they are limitless.

Purpose is all about the end result of getting it done. It involves the doing rather than the seeing or feeling. Purpose is the action that we take after a vision is formed.

Passion is the fuel we use to take action, delivering us to our vision. In fact, passion is created inside of vision and receives direction from it. What lights passion on fire is the spark that ignites our vision.

It's interesting because although all three are different, they all align and gather into the same equation to coexist.

The vision is what calls and inspires us. The purpose is what makes the vision a reality, and the passion is the fuel inside of the vision that feeds the purpose all the way to the finish line.
