Hey Transformers! Trevor Buccieri here and welcome to your weekly minute mindset.
We hear all this talk about vision, purpose and passion. So what's the difference?
Every single person yearns for significance in one way shape or form. It’s one of the six human needs according to Abraham Maslow.
I believe people of vision, purpose and passion would all fill the need and void of significance. That said, if they all fill the same void, aren't they the same?
The short answer is no.
The longer answer is no, and here's why.
Vision is what we see through feeling. It's what we create through listening to our hearts. Vision focuses on the process, not the end result. Our visions set us free because in our minds, they are limitless.
Purpose is all about the end result of getting it done. It involves the doing rather than the seeing or feeling. Purpose is the action that we take after a vision is formed.
Passion is the fuel we use to take action, delivering us to our vision. In fact, passion is created inside of vision and receives direction from it. What lights passion on fire is the spark that ignites our vision.
It's interesting because although all three are different, they all align and gather into the same equation to coexist.
The vision is what calls and inspires us. The purpose is what makes the vision a reality, and the passion is the fuel inside of the vision that feeds the purpose all the way to the finish line.
Have an outstanding inspired rest of your day!
