Hope

Hey Transformers! Trevor Buccieri here and welcome to your weekly minute mindset.

When we speak of the word hope relating to the goals and accomplishments we yearn for in our lives, instantly a double meaning comes into play.

We can say…"Man I really hope my goals happen." Or, we can say "I know this journey is going to be filled with tons of challenges, but I also have the hope to get me through it."

When we say that we hope something just magically happens, we forfeit our own control of the situation and become submissive. When we do this, we become disempowered because of the fact that this hope depends upon the external actions of another or others.

In one of the more recent superman movies, Superman was asked what the S represented on his shirt. He stated, "it's actually not an S. In my world this is a symbol that represents hope." This is the type of hope we are talking about. This is the type of hope that will deliver us the strength we need to break boundaries in the most trying times.

Many times this type of hope can be confused with faith and there's a reason for this. I believe both hope and faith complement each other to the level that they are entangled with one another.

When we say a statement such as "i'm filled with hope that I will have the strength to push through and come out on top," it also says our faith in ourselves is strong and that we will have what it takes to get the job done.

This is where hope becomes magical and unstoppable. This is the type of hope enabling us to reach higher than many of us have ever dreamed of.

Why? Because when we only hope we are going to be successful, we are showing a lack of faith in ourselves. When we are filled with hope in our pursuit of success, it shows that we believe in our abilities enough that we will pull through and hence, we already have succeeded.

Have an outstanding inspired rest of your day!
