We hear people talking about the importance of communication every single day but how critical is it to our success?

Of course this conversation can go back-and-forth when we talk about the importance of remaining focused and if you are talking you were losing focus.

On the other hand we can look at communication as a means of throwing your ideas and goals out to those around you to gain instant feedback and also accountability.

This is the approach I'd like to look at:

Let me ask you a question... if you have an idea, how would it benefit you by putting this idea into other peoples ears? Might it present possible objections you didn't see based upon your bias? It very well could.

Also… If you have a goal how is presenting that goal to others going to benefit you? Might it give you a stronger support system through your battle to accomplish the goal? I would say it is very possible.

I think we can all agree there are many points in our lives where we have been stuck in our own minds and many times it's very difficult to see beyond this.

Opening ourselves, our goals and ideas to a core group of people in our lives enables us to push ourselves further and faster.

I believe it is The difference between what we refer to as being open-minded or closed minded.

Are we opened to hearing how others perceive our ideas whether it be positive or negative?

Are we opened to hearing feedback on our progress with our goals whether it be positive or negative?

Or are we closed off from that?

Closing ourselves off simply closes the door on our ability to expand everywhere.

In order to open our minds, all we have to do is open our mouths by asking and open our ears by listening.

Massive Action

Hey Transformers! Welcome to your weekly minute mindset.

There is no half-assing massive action.

Either you are taking massive action or you are not.

So what determines if massive action is taken or not?

Simply put, it has everything to do with 2 things.
1. Being able to see how your actions affect what is most important to you in your life.
2. As much as you possibly can, position yourself in areas that inspire you and that you love to do.

Ok, well this sounds great but what does it mean?

Every action we take or do not take yields some type of result in our life.

When we have identified what is most important to us in our lives, we can set ourselves up for massive action by asking…

How will (What I am about to do) benefit what is most important to me in my life?

This wants to be answered over and over again until you have exhausted every benefit you can think of.

Now you will be able to see directly how the fruits of your massive action will be benefiting what is most dear to you in your life. Is there anything more powerful than that?

Actually yes.

We always here the expression do what you love.

Like number 2 states above, can this massive action towards our goals be taken doing something we love to do?

If you are someone already blessed to be in a field of work you are in love with, then hats off to you and well done.

If you are not, how can you position what you are doing to better match what you love in your life?

Can you change the setting?

Can you change who you are working with?

Or, can you find a way to transition what you are doing into something that you would more prefer to be doing?

Any way you cut it, taking these small steps will all lead to more inspiration and of course massive action.

Why? Because when you are doing what you love, and you see how it benefits your life, you become inspired and the value of taking massive action becomes explosive.

Have an outstanding inspired rest of your day!

Trust Your Intuition

Hey Transformers! Trevor Buccieri and welcome to your weekly minute mindset.

Science is finally getting traction on what religious texts and philosophers have been saying for centuries.

The heart controls our intuition and is directly connected to our soul.

How can this be?

When any event occurs, its been proven that a change in heart rhythm is the first physiological response measured, not a change in brain waves.

What does this mean?

It means that the heart has an intelligence connected to it, which enables it to literally perceive.

An event occurs and the heart changes rhythm. These signals are then sent to the brain, leading us to what we refer to as a gut feeling about the situation.

Then we attempt to intellectualize the situation.

What does the gut feeling mean?

Why do I feel like I should go left, when my mind tells me to go right?

Ok here is the mind blower.

The heart is connected to your soul. That said, your heart has your best interests at the top of its awareness at all times.

This means your heart is aware of what is most important to you in your life, also known as your highest values.

Why is that important?

If your heart knows what is most important to you in your life, your gut feelings are being created based upon these values.

It is making its intuitive decisions based upon what you hold as most important to you.

By the time this information gets into your brain, you begin to overthink the situation and become confused when the answer is so simple.

Your heart has already asked itself the important questions.

“If I go left, how will it benefit what is most important to me?”

“If I go right, how will it benefit what is most important to me?”

From here it has made its decision based on your best interests and developed your intuitive gut feeling.

It all has to do with having faith in what you feel.

This is why they always say, “trust your gut” and “follow your heart.”

It just knows.

Recognition and Appreciation

Hey Transformers! Trevor Buccieri and welcome to your weekly minute mindset.

They say recognition and appreciation is one of the most, if not the most desired outcomes of one's hard work.

Personally, I couldn't agree more.

Of the six basic human needs (certainty, uncertainty, significance, love and connection, growth, contribution), significance remains as one of our most sought after.

Every single person wants to be loved, appreciated and recognized for exactly who they are and what they are doing.

I have never met a person who doesn't want to be involved in something greater than themselves.

Doing so fulfills as many of our needs spanning across uncertainty, growth, contribution, love and connection as well as significance.

This all sounds great but how can we deliver significance to others on a daily basis?

Here is the beauty of this lesson. It's so much simpler than you ever thought.

Recognize others around you any and every time you can for their contributions.

Say thank you and express appreciation to others around you for what they are contributing.

This simple rule goes for your team, your family, your friends and quite frankly anyone you associate with on a regular or infrequent basis.

You will never run into a position where you are asked to stop expressing recognition and appreciation.

This is a direct feedback tool you have at your access 24 seven enabling you to reinforce desired actions as well as refine actions that are a work in process.

My recommendation is to use this and to do so as frequently as possible.

Delivering recognition and appreciation on a regular basis enables us to create a growth-minded environment full of significance to everyone around us including ourselves.

Focus For Weight Loss

What happens when you take your eye off the ball? Check it…

Hey Transformers! Trevor Buccieri and welcome to your weekly minute mindset.

Hesitation, simply put is our inability to follow our heart?

Let me explain.

Whenever we are faced with a decision, we intuitively have a gut feeling.

This gut feeling is directly linked to your heart.

Studies dating back to the times of ancient philosophers show that whenever an event occurs and we begin to form judgment of the event whether it supports or challenges us, the initial physiological change in our body begins with a change in heart rhythm rather than brain signal.

This means we see something, your heart detects it, adjusts its rhythm, sends a signal to the brain and then the brain begins to perceive the situation.

So how is it the heart makes the first call?

The heart is said to be directly linked to your soul.

With that said, your heart understands what is most important to you in your life.

This means the change in heart rhythm is based upon your best interests and what the heart feels would bring more benefits than drawbacks into your life.

It’s what initiates what we call our gut feeling.

So what is the problem here?

By the time our minds get any form of signal, our hearts have already read and perceived the situation based on what we value most in our lives.

If we haven’t specifically defined what is most important to us in our lives, our gut feeling in many cases becomes confusing and this leads to hesitation.

So how do we prevent this?

It’s as simple as 1, 2, 3!

1.) Define specifically what is most important to you in your life.

2.) Understand that when you have a gut feeling, it is coming from a place of your best interest.

3.) Answer the question: How does acting on my gut benefit what is most important to me in my life.

Answer this final question over and over again until your mind catches up to your heart and you too will see that the heart just knows.

So how do we eliminate hesitation?

Trust your heart.

Have an outstanding inspired rest of your day!
